About this exhibition
64th Walong Day 2026 is a government-led heritage and tourism programme in Walong, Anjaw district, Arunachal Pradesh. The programme commemorates the historic Battle of Walong and honours the Indian soldiers who defended the sector during the 1962 India–China War. The 2026 programme includes a half marathon, battlefield treks, high-altitude trekking, a memorial football tournament and other tourism and adventure activities, promoting the region's military heritage and Himalayan tourism.
