About this exhibition
Fahrrad Essen is described as one of the most important bicycle fairs in NRW, with around 200 exhibitors, destinations and brands. The focus is on e-bikes and urban biking, especially city and cargo bikes, which visitors can test on several test tracks. An extensive supporting programme with expert discussions accompanies the fair. It takes place 25–28 February 2027, Thursday to Sunday 10:00–18:00, parallel to Reise + Camping.
Why exhibit
It provides direct face-to-face marketing access to one of the most densely populated, bike-friendly regions in Europe (NRW). Exhibitors leverage the co-located Reise + Camping crowd to secure cross-over consumer sales and gain instant product feedback from direct test track usage.
Why visit
It acts as a massive "try before you buy" marketplace. Visitors can directly test novel electric designs, sample new cycling gear, and explore unique holiday planning options through the cycling tourism pavilions all under one roof.
Exhibitor profile
