About this exhibition
The First Kokborok Book Fair 2026 was a three-day literary and cultural event dedicated to promoting Kokborok language, literature, writers and indigenous cultural heritage of Tripura. The fair brought together authors, poets, publishers, scholars, students and book lovers. The programme featured Kokborok book stalls, new book releases, poetry recitations, literary discussions and a seminar on Kokborok literature. It provided a platform for promoting local authors and encouraging reading and literary activity among younger generations. The fair was held from 21–23 July 2026 at Dasarath Deb Memorial Auditorium, Supari Bagan, Agartala, Tripura.
